Tournament Overview


From June 22-27, 2010, Sportsmen's Tennis Club will host a women's $50,000 USTA Pro Circuit tennis tournament, featuring an exciting mix of high-performing juniors, college players, and players who may be as high as No. 250 to 300 in the WTA Tour rankings.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit club, serving hundreds of low-income youth every week. Tickets are only $5 per day or $10 for the week, including the finals. Come watch great professional matches up close and personal while supporting grassroots tennis!

Pro-Am Tournament
Monday, June 21

Here’s your chance to play with the pros!  A $500 contribution allows you to be partnered with a pro to play doubles against another pro/amateur doubles team.  Your contribution helps pay traveling expenses for the pros and sponsors a Junior Player to have a similar experience.


Match Play
Tuesday, June 22nd at 10 AM

Begins Tuesday, June 22nd at 10 AM and continues until the last match begins at about 5 PM;
Continues Wednesday, June 23rd through Friday, June 25th, with the first match beginning at 10AM daily and the last match starting at 5PM daily.
Semi-finals begin Saturday, June 26th at 11AM
Finals begin Sunday, June 27th at 11AM

Pro-Am Tournament Monday, June 21

Volunteers needed all week
Sportsmen's Tennis Club is seeking volunteers to help support the tournament, from maintaining ice, water and towels courtside to stuffing goody bags for the players before they arrive.  If you love tennis or just love to help out, please give us a call.  Volunteers must serve at least 3 hours in one day, and will receive one free t-shirt for the week, free breakfast and/or lunch on the day(s) they serve, and free attendance at all matches.  You must register in advance to serve as a volunteer.

Ball kids
Children 10 and up are welcome to learn to serve as ball kids and help out during the quarter finals, semi finals and finals.  Children must attend at least 2 of the trainings, being held Friday, June 4th and Friday, June 11th from 6 to 8 PM, and Saturday, June 19th from 9 to 11 AM.  Ball kids receive 1 free t-shirt for the week and free lunch the day(s) they serve.
